Robert B. Brumfield passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the age of 68. He was a native of St. Helena Parish and a resident of Denham Springs, LA. Robert proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was employed for Copolymer for 39 years. Robert enjoyed cooking and golfing. He was a member of the Revival Temple in Walker, LA. and Friendship Force of Baton Rouge. Robert was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Neese Brumfield daughter, Jennifer Brumfield Persac and husband Jeff stepdaughters, Amy Kinard Webb, and Carole Ann Kinard and husband Forrest sons, Christopher Brumfield and wife Susan Seidel, and Damian Brumfield and wife Angela. Grandchildren, Robert J. Brumfield Persac, Lauren Persac, Grace Persac, Joshua Persac, Heather Brumfield, Connor Brumfield, Alex Brumfield eight stepgrandchildren and sisters, Rita Clayton, Frances Bennett and husband Charles, and Patsy Becker. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Gracie Blades Brumfield son, Joshua Martin Brumfield, sister, Mary Evelyn Sims, and three brothers, Bill, Vic, and Frank Brumfield. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA. 70816, on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2 pm until 5 pm. Visitation will resume at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 9 am until service at 11 am. Pastor Wes Courtney and Don Williams will be officiating.
