Robert Bergergon

Robert "Bob" Earl Bergeron, 85, a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on February 1, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimers disease.

He retired from Conoco Oil Co. He was part owner of Newman Construction Supply, Inc. He took great pride in his family, he was a great father, and loving husband.

Robert is survived by his children, Pamela Gremillion, Robert Edward Bergeron, Edward Bergeron and wife, Sherri, Janet Bergeron, Sandra Bergeron, Jacqueline McClain and husband, Keith, and William Bergeron and wife, Terri; his 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

He preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Newman Bergeron, his parents, Helen and Earl Bergeron, and his son-in-law, Steve Gremillion.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. from 11:00 AM until services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
