Robert Begnaud

Robert Lee Begnaud, 83, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away at The Butterfly Wing on Monday, January 24, 2022.

He was born to the late Horace and Winnie Begnaud. He was an avid craftsman, world traveler, and loved his Cajun music and heritage.

He is survived by a daughter Michelle Begnaud (Lou Fillman) of St. Francisville; granddaughters Jordyn Parrish and Carley Parrish Bissel (Luke); and several nieces and his favorite nephew, Chris Begnaud (Norma).  He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Begnaud; children, Dennis Begnaud and Lori Begnaud Parrish; his parents; and his brother Jasper Begnaud (Alena).

Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.

The family of Robert wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Baton Rouge General Hospital on Bluebonnet and The Butterfly Wing.
