Robert Morris Alexander passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at home surrounded by his family. He ended all of his emails with the passage above followed by the exhortation to keep your knees dirty in prayer. Robert was born in Ruston on Aug. 11, 1959, was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge and worked at Dow Chemical. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Ryals Alexander two sons, Clayton and Kyle father and stepmother, Robert C. and Sonja Alexander. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Alexander and brother, Chuck Alexander. A memorial service will be held at Comite Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 29, at noon, conducted by Pastor Dale Phillips. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to the Baton Rouge Cancer Society .
