Rita Hoffman

Rita Ann Buchmann Hoffman, age 90, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 19, 2022.

She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1951. She worked 30+ years as a nurse. She was beloved by her siblings, nieces and nephews and loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Camille Buchmann; her first husband, Henry Voltz; and her second husband, Donald Hoffman.

Rita is survived by her siblings, Tom Buchmann (Susie), and Vickie Buchmann; her former sister-in-law, Beverly Morrison; her nieces and nephews, Cathy Buchmann West (Doug), Monica Buchmann Elrod, Lisa Buchmann DeBosier, and Tommy Buchmann.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 11:30 am until services at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
