Rita Richard Cannatella, passed away at the age of 92 on Monday, July 5, 2021.
She was a native of Belle Rose, a resident of Baton Rouge and a retired State Employee with the Department of Civil Service.
She was a member of St Patrick's Church and served on the adoration society for several years.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Marshall Wilson; a grandson and his wife Richard Roche III and Buttins Roche; two great grandsons who were the apple of her eyes Jayce and Judah Roche; one sister Wilma Farmer and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Cannatella, her parents Elvan and Ollie Richard, sisters Anna Mae Theriot and Ruby Cotton brothers, Joseph Richard and Donald Richard.
Visitation will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon lane, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10 am until Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
