A 29 year employee of Baton Rouge Coca Cola Bottling Company, he passed away at the age of 51 on Sunday, February 27, 2011. He was a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 9am until graveside service in Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 10am. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Parrish sisters, Lynn Holtzclaw and husband Wayne, Virginia Arens and husband Greg, Kathleen Parrish brother, Paul David Parrish nieces, Lisa, Tami and Jamie great nephews, Alex and Spencer uncle Gilbert Parks aunts, Sarah Parrish, Marie Parrish, Mary Stelk, Susan Hoover and husband Jerry and special friend Barbara Bower. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Parrish Sr. paternal grandparents, Elva and Stephen Parrish aunts, Esther Haley and Margaret Thomas and a nephew, E. Wayne Holtzclaw Jr. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Bailey, Dr. Stagg, Dr. Milletello, Dr. Levine, Dr. Graves, Dr. Waguespack, to the Baton Rouge Coca Cola Bottling Company for making his 29 years of service possible and to everyone at the Jefferson Manor Nursing Home.
