Richard Jones

Richard Alton Jones, age 78, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 20, 2020.

Richard worked at Borden Dairy for 40 years.

He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved going out with friends, enjoyed dining out, casino trips and times spent on cruises.

Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Daron Jones, Chad Brian Jones and wife Jennifer; daughter, Jill Jones Huff and husband Mark Allen; grandchildren, Colin Jones, Jack Jones, Joseph Jacques Stein, III, Madalan Jones, William Jones, Savannah Grace Huff, Emilie Jones, Preston Huff, and Eli Jones.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Davis Jones; parents, Merlin and Eva Jones.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
