Richard Jenkins

Richard Glen Jenkins, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the age of 56, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. Glen was President of Jenkins Tile Company which was his second love outside of his family. He loved and adored his family more than life itself, and was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruth Jenkins and fatherinlaw, Bill Higgins. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeanne Jenkins his daughter and soninlaw, Amanda and Kevin Mitchell daughters, Mallory and Lauren Jenkins granddaughter, Bailey Marie Mitchell motherinlaw, Joyce Higgins and Jodie and Gary Golden and Bill and Jean Higgins whom he considered his sisters and brothers.

Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 5:00 pm until memorial service at 6:00 pm.
