Richard Celestin

Richard Dickie Celestin,
native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters, Toni and husband Wayne Shackelford and Denys and husband Ronny Townley five grandchildren, David, Danielle, Ron, Celeste, and Amber and 17 greatgrandchildren. Dickie is preceded in death by his wife Marlene Celestin and parents, Felix and Beatrice Celestin. He loved his family and loved birds.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude, stjude.orgdonatenow.
