Beloved daughter of Ervin and Brenda Parent, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 8:15 am at Promise Hospital after a long, brave fight. She was 53 years old. Survived by a sister and brotherinlaw, Libby and Kenny Ayo niece, Felicia Ayo brother, Paul Parent aunts and uncles, Pat and Randy Saucier, Thelma Amond, Dickie and Esther Amond, Danny Amond, Laura Sharp, Mimi and Jim Wood, Kerry and Mary Parent, C.J. Parent, Edward and Mary Ann Parent, Ellis and Gail Parent and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by a sister, Dana Parent and grandparents, Clay and Eloise Parent, and Alex and Alice Amond. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 9 am until service at 12 noon. Interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers are Kenny Ayo, Kerry Parent, Randy Saucier, Frankie Kleinpeter, Edward Parent, and Bobby Denny.
