Rene Chiasson

A loving and devoted husband and father, he died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009. Rene was 38 and a Rehab Sales Manager for Action Rehab. He touched many lives by volunteering and in his career working to improve the quality of life of the physically challenged in the Baton Rouge area and along the Miss.Gulf Coast. He was a native of Bay St. Louis, MS and resident of Walker, LA. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kimberly Nettles Chiasson; a son, Cameron Jacob Chiasson; parents, Norris J. Chiasson Sr. and Glynda Chiasson of Kiln, MS; a brother, Norris J. Chiasson Jr. and wife Melissa of Kiln, MS; nieces, Sabrina Chiasson, who was also his godchild, Syera Chiasson, and Ava Nettles, who was also his godchild; nephews, Caleb Chiasson, Cade Nettles and Cole Nettles; brothers-in-law, Keith Nettles, Kevin Nettles and wife Christy and Jimmy Nettles Jr. and wife Sarah; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy Nettles Sr. and Loretta Nettles, and numerous family and close friends. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Chiasson and Leonica Chiasson; and maternal grandparents, Mae Knoblock and Woodrow McGehee Sr. Friends and Family are invited to visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. conducted by Dr. Tommy G.
