Ree Kostuch, 70, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at her home with her husband by her side. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Ree enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports, and anything LSU. She graduated from LSU with a masters degree as a Reading Specialist for special needs children and was a member of Kapa Kapa IOTA. Ree taught for 22 years in the EBR Parish School System. She also worked for the family business, Employee Benefit Adms Inc., for 17 years as an insurance office manager. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, George Kostuch, Jr. her beloved teacup yorkie, Tiger daughter, Michelle Kostuch Sharp and husband Keith son, George M. Kostuch and wife Claire four grandchildren, George Ryan Giacone, Alyssa Marie Giacone, Kelsey Lynn Sharp, and Taylor Rene Sharp brother, Bo Smith. and wife Corky and three nieces. Preceded in death by her parents, Cleament, Sr., and Dorothy Adams Ricketts stepfather, Rayford Ricketts and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm and will resume on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 11 am until funeral service at 1 pm, conducted by Dr. Kenn Reed.
