Rebecca Varnado

Rebecca Becky Bridges Varnado passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Walker, LA. Becky was a 1969 graduate of Woodlawn High School. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking for special occasions. She is survived by son, Jamie Varnado and wife Amy two sisters, Linda Carlton and husband Jackie, and Aline Andrews three brothers, Clive Bridges and wife Debbie, Elmo Bridges and wife Kathy, and Wayne Bridges and wife Brenda three grandchildren, Carly, Trent, and Laney Varnado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clive and Ida Mae Bridges. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S. Harrells Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, at 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial following at 12:30 PM on Friday, January 10, 2014. Officiated by Father Tom Ranzino. Interment to immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA. 70816.
