Raymond Morgan

Retired owner of Ace Plumbing Repair Parts, he died at 4:56 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at his residence in Central. He was 82 and a native of Koscuisko, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Wednesday, June 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by Pastor Glen Kirby. Entombment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Jean Morgan four daughters, Brenda Landry and husband Jerry, Vickie Tunnard and husband Johnny, Sandra Price, and Stacie Birch and husband Brian two sisters, Gloria Cryer and Joy Aaron brother, Jason H. Morgan Jr. 10 grandchildren, Michelle Durr and husband Jeffrey, Todd Landry, Brandon Landry, Rodney A. Whittington Jr., Allyson Harris and husband Bryan, Brandi Tunnard, Sandi Tunnard, Kevin Bubba Dunn, Kaitlyn Birch and Madilyn Birch 11 greatgrandchildren and many friends, including Bobby Durr and Henry Ouzts. Preceded in death by his daughter, Madalyn Ann Morgan parents, Jason H. and Kathrine Morgan sister, Bobbie Rae Morgan and brother, Larry Morgan. He was a member of Chapelwood Church of God. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for the care given to Mr. Morgan at this difficult time.
