He was employed with ECI as manager of projects. He was a 1966 graduate of LSU with a degree in civil engineering. A resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 66. Visiting at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Saturday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Inurnment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Forrest mother, Gladys E. Forrest two sons, Ray B. Forrest and Jeff A. Forrest and wife Valarie two grandchildren, Hunter and Haley Forrest and two brothersinlaw, Mack Herrod and wife Rhonda, and Jay Herrod and wife Joy. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond O. Forrest Sr. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Red Stick Flyers.
