Phyllis Stevens

90, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of Ann Arbor, MI. Phyllis passed away at St. James Place in Baton Rouge. She was an English teacher for 35 years retiring from Speedway High School in Speedway, IN. Phyllis loved to read, cook and cross stich. She also had a great love for animals. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, Baton Rouge on Saturday March 30, 2013 from 9:00am until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by daughters Susan Young Crandall with husband Rex and Holly Young Randow and husband Glen sons Mark Young with wife Jill, Tom Stevens with wife Christine, Jerry Stevens with wife Rebecca and Scott Stevens. She is also survived by grandchildren Keri Grossman, Jeb Crandall, Amanda and Kyra Stevens and great grandchildren Cam and Addi Kooi. She was preceded in death by her husband William P Stevens.
