Phyllis Ann Roubique Neyland, native and resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the age of 59. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Carl Neyland, Jr. parents, Victor and Naomi Roth Roubique three sons and daughtersinlaw, Jeff and Rachel Neyland, Jeremy and Jessica Neyland, and Jared Neyland five grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Grace, Emory, and Brock two sisters and brothersinlaw, Linda and Colen Rojas, and Laurie and Steve Petty two brothers and sistersinlaw, Rodney and MeMe Roubique, and Frank and Sandy Roubique aunt, Rosemary Hall of Nashville, Tn Godmother, Rita Hoffman three brothersinlaw and their wives, Denny and Pat Neyland, Jerry and Keetsie Neyland, and Wayne and Joan Neyland one sisterinlaw and her husband, Pat and Wayne Minton and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James G. Sr. and Irene Landry Roth, and Frank and Angeline Scorsone Roubique father and motherinlaw, Carl and Eula B. Neyland Godfather, James G. Roth Jr and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 5 pm until 9 pm with a rosary lead by St. Piux X KC Council 6531 at 7 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Gerard Landry, Ryan Hodges, Justin Roubique, Britton Roubique, Tim Neyland, Clint Santangelo, and Craig Santangelo. Phyllis Ann loved to read, crochet, and follow her children and grandchildren in sports, but what she loved more than anything was her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
