Phyllis Ann Daniels Martello, age 64, native of Cash, AR, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
Phyllis retired from the Louisiana Department of Corrections after 33 years of employment. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Phyllis's grandchildren were the light of her life.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 28 years, Russell Martello, Jr.; son, Russ Martello, III, and his children, Seth and Avie; daughter, Ashley Etheridge and husband Clayton, and their children, Destiny, Kaitlyn, Darriann, Savannah, and Makaila; daughter, Jenny Martello Davis and husband Derik, and their children, Devin and Haley; stepson, Eddie Gillingham; sister, Brenda Joffrion and husband Kenneth; sister, Jean Vicknair and husband Bill; and brother, Jimmy Daniels and family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Raye Thomas Daniels; father, James Lee Daniels; and mother-in-law, Jennie Donachricha Martello.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Resthaven Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.
Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
