A retired employee of Ethyl Corp.Abemarle and owner of Delta Realty of Louisiana, he died on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was 92, a resident of Baton Rouge, a native of Garyville and a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Sunday, May 2, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Military graveside service at Port Hudson National Cemetery on Monday, May 3, at 2 p.m. Survived by his two daughters, Jessica Hotard and Dana Hotard Cureton two sons, Kennith Hotard and Edward Hotard stepson, Donald Little two sisters, Ellie Hotard Holmes and Dorothy Hotard Chavion brother, Warren Hotard nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Brady and W.P. Fatty Hotard stepdaughter, Sandra Cambre son, John Hotard sister, Ruth Hotard and two brothers, Francis Hotard and Richard Dickie Hotard. He was a graduate of Destrehan High School.
