Peggy Politz

A native of Alexandria, she died Monday, March 30, 2009, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 54. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Survived by her loving husband, John F. Politz, his daughter, Kim, and son, Anthony and wife Lynette, and beautiful granddaughter, Sophia. Also survived by her daughter, Heather Kathleen Mathews; and two brothers, Stephen Boardman and William T. Boardman III. Preceded in death by her parents, William Boardman Jr. and Kathern Nemera. Peggy had a true love for spending time with family, lighthouses and horses. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 10528 Kentshire Court, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
