Peggy Hooks Dabadie

July 25, 1930 — November 11, 2023

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who left this world to be with the LORD on the 11th of November, 2023.  She was born July 25, 1930.  She was a member of Living Hope Fellowship, a former teacher and librarian. Services at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 10 am on November 17, 2023 conducted by Pastor Josh Causey.
 
Peggy is survived by daughter-in-law Toni W. Dabadie; grandchildren Danielle D. Hagge and husband Brian, Noelle D. Wager and husband Brian,  André Dabadie, Charles Griff Dabadie and wife Ryan, Amy D. Demars and husband Chuck, J. Marcus Dabadie; great grandchildren Renée and Charles Wager,  Chloe Ashford-Olson, Nathan Ashford, David Crifasi, Silas Smith, Merritt and Cameryn Dabadie, Beau, Gabriel and Owen Demars; sister Charlotte Hooks Levy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  
 
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph R. Dabadie, Jr. and their sons Charles R. Dabadie and Joseph L. Dabadie; parents Opal Hooks Wild and Charles S. Hooks; sister, Catherine Hooks Breland and great granddaughter Raney Dabadie. Pallbearers are Toni W. Dabadie, Noelle and Brian Wager, Renée and Charles Wager, and Charles G. Dabadie. Honorary pallbearers will be Danielle and Brian Hagge, and J. Marcus Dabadie.
 
The family would like to acknowledge the members of the Living Hope Fellowship, Danielle D. Hagge, Toni W. Dabadie, and Noelle D. Wager for their faithful service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a memorial donation be given to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
