Peggy Champagne

October 16, 1946 — November 3, 2014

Peggy Champagne,
native of Massachusetts and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on November 3, 2014 at the age of 68. She enjoyed attending Saints games, going to casinos, musicals, movies, festivals and shopping. Peggy also loved to read, travel with friends, play golf, work in her garden, play with her granddogs and tending to her fish in her pond. Peggy was an employee of Turnkey Offshore Project Services TOPS.

She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Lee Champagne of New Orleans and Jennifer Lee Champagne of Baton Rouge sisters, Mary Ellen Krejmas, Betty Merchant and Sandy Beagley brothers, Fred and Richard Tirrell granddogs, Magnolia Margaret and Buckly Brees. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Terrell and Mary Jane Bray sister, Ethel Pearcore.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Steve Gleason Foundation, www.teamgleason.org, or the Local animal shelter.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 9:00am until memorial service at 10:00am.
