Pauline Parent

She was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Clinton. She was 61 and passed away at 5:12 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, after a long struggle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Perry J. Parent, after 43 years of marriage. She is also survived by her special son, Paul J. Parent, and his special wife, Brittany DeWitt Parent mother, Ruby Martin Miller and brother, Wesley Miller Sr. A special thanks to her friend and caregiver, Connie Berry. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Burl W. Miller niece, Shara Kaye Miller nephew, Jerry Dwayne Miller grandmother, Mannie Bankston Miller grandfather, Otis Miller grandmother, Berline Roux Martin Breaux stepgrandfather, Kelly Breaux and grandfather, James Martin. We would also like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for their care and assistance. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 8:30 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Brother Derek Brown. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The pallbearers will be Raymond Coco Saltzman, Roland Clement, Dale Guitreau, Dennis Marrero, Dale Easley, Joel Negrotto, and Billy Jummonville. Honorary pallbearers are Kent Miller and Brent Berry.
