Paul Joseph Vidacovich, Jr. passed away at The Crossing on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 90. He was a graduate of Long Beach High School in Long Beach, MS and LSU receiving a BS in Accounting. Paul was a Navy veteran, serving 22 months active duty and 20 years in the Naval Reserve before retiring as a Lieutenant Junior Grade. He was a longtime member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church where he took place in many activities including Seekers Sunday School Class, the finance committee, Saints Alive Senior Choir, and the Prime of Life committee. One of his hobbies included wood carving especially duck decoys. His greatest role of all was being a granddad and a great-granddad.
He is survived by his children, Paul Langdon Vidacovich and wife Kelly, and Fran Bell and husband Mark; grandchildren, August Vidacovich and wife Sara, Steven Bell and wife Brooke, Landon Bell, Austin Bell and fiancée Laura, and Kristen O’Neal and husband Sean, Krista Lieblong, Trevor Lieblong and wife Amanda, and Elizabeth and Sophia Day; great-grandchildren, Marlee and Luke Bell, and Andi and Chloe Bliss.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Head Vidacovich; parents, Paul Joseph Sr., and Wilhelmina Henderson Vidacovich; sister, Marcelle Vidacovich; and sister-in-law, Mary Frances Comfort.
Visitation will be held at Broadmoor United Methodist Church on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021.
