A native of Baton Rouge, he died Saturday, March 27, 2010, in San Mateo, Mexico, in a motorcycle accident. He was 61 and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, April 5, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 6, from 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Mike Collins. He is survived by his wife, Margie Talbot motherinlaw, Connie Smith three daughters, Michelle Alello and husband Mark, Paula Dawson and husband Jimmy, and Kristen Brooks and husband Jon a son, Scooter Talbot four sisters, Marie Talbot Iverson and husband Jerry Iverson, Beth Talbot Day, Ellen Talbot Osborne and husband Jackie Osborne, and Sandra Talbot Decker and husband Guy Decker three brothers, Evert J. Talbot Jr. and wife Pat Grimes Talbot, Emile C. Talbot and wife Marlene Munson Talbot, and Donnie L. Talbot and wife Donna McDaniel Talbot five grandchildren, Megan Alello, Matt Alello, Christopher Brooks, Bradin Brooks and Payton Dawson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evert J. Talbot Sr. and Hazel Douglas Talbot. Pallbearers will be Mark Alello, Jimmy Dawson, Jon Brooks, Donnie Talbot, Matt Alello and Michael Jackson. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association .
