Paul Schoeffler

Paul H. Schoeffler, Jr., 94, passed away on July 10, 2021.

He was born in Lafayette, LA July 18, 1926 to Paul H. Schoeffler, Sr., and Bernadette E. Freyou. Paul served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946, following his discharge he married Alicia Randolph on May 30, 1947 in Lafayette. Paul worked thirty years as a civil engineer, his career allowed him to work in many places around the world as well as working on the LSU stadium expansion. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Paul is survived by his sons, Paul H. (Jeanne) Schoeffler, III and Norman (Caryn) Schoeffler; sister; Johanna (Bill) Bishop; brothers, Harold (Sarah), Charles (Tessie); sisters, Elizabeth (Emile), Ann and numerous grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia, parents, Paul and Bernadette, brothers Fritz and Bob; and granddaughter, Melissa.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, services will begin at 3:00 pm and interment will follow, all at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson HWY, Baton Rouge.

Memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to the charity of your choice.
