Paul Miceli, Sr.

Paul J. Miceli, Sr., age 75, native of New Orleans, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2015.

Paul was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul's dining room.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Richard Miceli; children, Taryn E. Miceli and fiancé Lewis Britt, Paul J. Miceli, Jr. and wife Toni, Patrick M. Miceli and girlfriend Ksenia Annis, and Reverend Michael A. Miceli; grandchildren, Brennan J. Moss, Dustin J. Moss, Andrew J. Moss, Ethan J. Miceli, Eleni R. Miceli, and "adopted" son Reverend Robert J. Cruz; brother, Carroll "Frank" Miceli and wife Carol; sister, Catherine M. Martinez; and sister-in-law, Marcia I. Miceli.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles N. Miceli and Gabrielle Rose Arnaud Miceli; sisters, Mary Lee Adams and Peggy Miceli; and brothers, Charles, J.B., Jack, Peter Joseph, Walter, and Coral Miceli.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 12:00 PM, celebrated by his son, Reverend Michael A. Miceli.

Private burial will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 12:00 PM.
