Paul Michael Hebert, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, and a native of Raceland, LA was born October 14, 1966. He passed away Monday, January 23, 2024, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. He was 57 years old. Survived by his wife, Eva Hebert, stepson William Sweet (Laura), grandson Nolan; mother Connie Hopper (Tim); siblings Glenn Hebert (Tori), Chris Hebert (Angie), Jacque Hebert (Amanda), Danette Hamilton (sister) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony “Tony” Hebert.
Paul enjoyed life. He loved his job as a machinist for 15 years at Plant Machine Works and was skilled at it. He strived for excellence in everything he did. Whether it was cooking a turkey, cutting grass, boiling crawfish, or putting up a fence, his attention to detail ensured that the task would be done to perfection. He was proud that he maintained his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado for years, rebuilding the engine once and keeping it running flawlessly with over 300,000 miles on it. He had a passion for all things Harley Davidson. He had a Road King for years and then a Trike he and Eva enjoyed riding together. Paul was a true South Louisiana man. He loved fishing, especially on the coast, and loved his seafood - whether eating it or cooking it.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff of Jefferson Manor Nursing Home and The Hospice of Baton Rouge for the excellent care given to Paul while he was with them.
