Paul Carithers

Paul Wayne Carithers of Baton Rouge passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017, after a long courageous battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by his sister and close friends.

He was a retired Service Technician for AT&T. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran who served in Viet Nam. Paul was an animal lover, rescuing cats and dogs at whatever cost. He loved the Saints, LSU Football, Baseball, and Softball.

Paul is survived by his sister, Beverly Jenkins and husband Cecil. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Hudson Carithers (Bill), and Gladys Johnson.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 11:00 AM until Funeral Services at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
