Patsy Earnhart

December 11, 1932 — October 24, 2017

Patsy Ann Crupper Earnhart went to be with her Lord on October 24, 2017. She was born to Orville and Ruby Crupper on December 11, 1932 in Childers, OK.

Patsy loved to read her bible and share God's word with others. She was an avid sports fan, especially the LSU Tigers Basketball Team, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees. She also enjoyed spending time with her longtime friends, who were affectionately known as the Golden Girls, and her antiquing buddy Betty Joyce Taylor. She was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church and a Sunday School Teacher.

Patsy is survived by a son, Mike Earnhart; two grandchildren, Shelley Nettles and Clint Earnhart; three great-grandchildren, Claire Nettles, Faith Nettles, and Phillip Earnhart; and three sisters and brothers-in-laws, Betty Blair, Linda and Winfred Simmons, and Vicky and Harvey Truclock.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Melvin Earnhart; a son, Phillip Earnhart; and two sisters, Phyllis Crupper and Sherry Lane.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 12:00pm until services at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Ataxia Foundation.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to St. Joseph's Hospice and Carpenter House for their compassion.
