Patsey Aulino

Patsey Ruth Aulino passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 96.  Born in Spencer, West Virginia, Pat spent the first half of her adult life in Akron, Ohio, married to Bernardo J. Aulino, raising three children, and managing a child care center.  She retired to Fort Myers, Florida where she and Ben enjoyed a life full of friends, family, and fulfillment. Pat loved her family, and loved music and dancing.  She always had her toe tapping, ready for a party.  Pat maintained a positive attitude, never dwelled on the negative, and pulled all those around her up with her charm, grace and strength.

Pat is survived by her son Carmen Aulino (wife Robin), and her daughters Connie Ely, and Cindy Barker (husband Jim), and her grandchildren David Barker (wife Sarah), Benny Ely, Christina Aulino and Joe Aulino.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Benny Aulino.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, on October 1, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00am.  Memorial service will immediately follow. Flowers may be sent to Resthaven or a donation made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org
