Patrick Kenney

Graveside services will be held at Port Hudson, La., on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 1:30 pm for Patrick Alden Kenney, 78, who died on December 11, 2011 in Baton Rouge, La., after residing for many years in Metairie, La. He was a graduate of Innis High School, attended S.L.I. and was a four year Air Force Veteran. He also served a number of years in Foreign Service with the U.S. State Department. A native of Red Cross, La., in Pointe Coupee Parish, he was the son of the late Clement Alden Kenney and Zoe Wray Kenney. His wife of 45 years, Maria Mikkonen, of Helsinki, Finland, also preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, John Wray Kenney, Lafayette, La., twin sisters Lucille K. Johnson of Baton Rouge, La., and Lessie K. Jones of Huntsville, Ala., three stepsons, Harry Mikkonen of Helsinki, Finland, Darius Rakhshani of Dubai and Raymond Rakhshani, Santa Monica, Ca., one niece, nine nephews and cousins Faye Wray Schott, Simmesport, La., and Harold Wray of Jeanerette, La.
