Patricia Ortego

Patricia Ann Pino Ortego , age 80 and native of Baton Rouge, passed away unexpectedly from flu complications on Tuesday afternoon, February 6, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
Patricia loved her family and was a compassionate and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to the many that knew her.
She is survived by daughter, Rosemary Burleigh and husband Troy; sons, Keith Ortego and Darren Ortego; 4 sisters, Mona Carbo, Betty Allen, Camillia "Sister" Plauche and Barbara Marshall; brother, Danny Paul Pino; 2 grandchildren, Darren Ortego, Jr. and wife Miranda, and Shannon Burleigh; 2 great-grandchildren, Emilee and Ryland.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Albert "A.F." and Ora Marie Clouatre Pino, husband, Murphy James Ortego, and son, Brian Wayne Ortego, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitations will resume Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1:30 pm until services at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory
