Patricia "Pat" Hamilton

Patricia Oline Parker Hamilton passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 86. Pat was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 17^th, 1937, to the late Phillip Mines Parker and Mamie Elizabeth Raiford Parker.

Pat was a native of Madisonville, Louisiana, until she met and married her late husband of 44 years, John L. Hamilton Sr. Together, they moved to Baton Rouge and started their life raising three beautiful sons.

She was a retired administrator from Grief Brothers Inc. and was a devoted member of St. George Catholic Church.

Pat is survived by her sons, John L. Hamilton Jr. (Roxie Comeaux), Vincent P. Hamilton (Patricia Penalber), and Jeffery P. Hamilton (Verna Buchanan); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hamilton Sr.; parents, Mines and Mamie Parker; sisters, Dorothy Catherine Dennison (John) and Shirly Parker King (Bill).

The family would like to give a special thanks to her dedicated, wonderful, kind next door neighbors Danny and Dana Lewczyk and Phyllis C. Bell.

A visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 Saint George Dr., Baton Rouge, on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at St. George Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception following the burial in the St. George reception hall.
