Patricia “Pat” Sue Farrow Flacy, a resident of Baton Rouge, died at home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, with her daughter, Terri, by her side.
She was a homemaker who devoted her life to raising her three daughters. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing Pokeno and other games with friends, and cooking. Pat was especially known for her homemade hot tamales.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Camillus “Cam” Watkins Flacy, Jr. Also preceded in death by her parents; Wesley Earl Farrow and Mabel Catherine Farrow; sisters Elizabeth Gillaspy and Lucille Tuminello; brother Thomas Farrow and a special mention for Mary Lorea Flacy who raised Cam and with whom Pat was like a daughter.
She is survived by three daughters; Catherine “Cathy” Lorea Flacy Carraway, husband, Roger, their children: Brandon Earl Carraway and wife Erin and their two daughters Wren and Lily, Kayla Marie Carraway and daughter Reese Nola Cleveland, and son Lucas Dwane Carraway; Elizabeth “Beth” Camille Flacy Hardison and son Charles Everett Hardison; and daughter Theresa “Terri” Ellen Flacy Vicknair, husband, Brian, and their children Cameron Joseph Vicknair and Samantha Mary Vicknair.
After cremation, there will be a private memorial. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Cardinal Hospice and Claiborne at Shoe Creek.
The family requests that if you wish to honor Pat, please do so with a memorial donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
