Pamela Capell

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of White Castle, she went to be with our Lord on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009. Pam is survived by her husband, Joe Capell; mother, Opal Burleigh; daughter, Megan Stevens; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Ashley Capell, Joshua Fleniken and Allen Capell; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Robert Sanchez, Janet and Francis Mury and Deborah and Bradley Martin; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Patrick and Toni Burleigh, Ronald and Sherry Burleigh, Kenneth and Pam Burleigh and Stephen Capell and Cindy ; sister-in-law, Susie Tharp and husband Chet; three grandchildren, Jacob Fleniken, Cooper Capell and Kenzie Capell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Edward Burleigh Sr.; brother, Edward Joseph Burleigh Jr.; and brother-in-law, Charles Bubba Capell. Pam loved saltwater fishing in Leeville almost as much as she loved the LSU Tigers. She was loved and will be missed by all. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Dec. 30, from 9 a.m. until service at noon. In lieu of flowers, Pam requested that memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society .
