Pamela Diane Graves Burnette, originally from Lenoir City, Tennessee, but now a current resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday December 6, 2016, after a short illness. She received her GED from Maryville Community College. In her life she was a concrete mason, an addictions counselor in a treatment center, performed apartment maintenance, and was a computer technician and a private investigator's assistant.
Pamela is survived by her domestic partner, Diane Brown; her daughter, Lytonya Lene Kelley and her husband John; her son, Lance Lene and his wife Kat; her daughter, Danette Brown Sweat and her husband David; her siblings, Tim Graves, Tiger Graves, Joyce Graves Price, Jeffrey Graves, and April Graves Swain; her parents, Shirley Goth and Alvin Graves; grandchildren, Jasmine, Kabriel, Julia, Joey, Zander, and Luxton; and her AA sponsors of 28 years, Elaine Fulton and Maryanne Lawson.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Lydia Graves Kimball.
Visiting hours will begin at noon and extend until the beginning of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th. Both will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge.
