A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Oakdale, she died Thursday morning, June 17, 2010, at Old Jefferson Community Care Center. She was 87. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, June 20, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 5 p.m., conducted by Brother Ron Tyndall. She is survived by daughters, Dot Guillot and husband Jerry, Lorette Graves, Jeanette Welsh, and Gwen Ortego and husband Avis a son, Leonard Horn 14 grandchildren, Bruce, Stacy, Tab, Shane, Sam, Becki, Bobbie, Johnny, Tony, Brian, Garith, Jeremy, Ian and Christian 18 greatgrandchildren and a greatgreatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Truly Dyer husband, Charles Rumery a sister and six brothers. Special thanks to the staff of Old Jefferson Community Care Center.
