Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Marksville. She went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She was 73 years old. Her children are Belinda Campbell, Colette Campbell Brooks and husband Larry Brooks, Nina Campbell, Gaynell Poche and husband Chris Poche, Thomas Campbell and wife Tammie Martinez Campbell, Paula Campbell and Brian Campbell and fianc Sylvia Alvis 6 grandchildren, Kelly Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Michael Campbell, Lauren Brooks, Ryan Brooks, and Brett Brooks and brother, Marvin Mayeux. Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Campbell parents, Wilfred and Annie Mayeux brothers, Alan Mayeux, Albert Mayeux, Hebert Mayeux and Mark Mayeux sisters, Lizadee Austin and Ela Stevens son, Paul Campbell grandchildren, Joey Achille Campbell and Adam Wes Campbell. She enjoyed her family and entertaining friends. Ollie worked for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board as a teachers assistant. She will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 5 pm9 pm and will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9 am until funeral service at 11 am. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be all grandsons and nephew, Keith Stevens.
