Olivia Miller

Olivia Carol Miller, known to family and friends as Carol, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022. Carol was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sept. 4, 1957 to Otis O. Miller and Ann Horne Miller. After graduating from Tara High School, Carol pursued a career in computer and software sales that led her to California for a number of years. After retiring she returned to Baton Rouge and the family farm in Poplarville, Mississippi to care for her aging parents in their final years.

Carol leaves behind her sister, Sharon Miller Turner and husband Joseph Turner; her brother, David L. Miller and wife Renee Doran Miller. Her nieces, Jessica Miller Ruble and husband Charles Ruble, Caitie Miller Culver and husband Jeremy Culver and Lindsey Nicole Miller. Her neph­ews, David Gabriel Ruble and Henry Charles Ruble and her niece, Cecilia Allison Culver. Along with many cousins. Carol also leaves behind a group of friends that date back to her earliest days in school.

Carol was pre­ceded in death by her parents Otis O. Miller and Ann Horne Miller, her paternal grandparents Francis G. “Griff” Miller and Effey F. Miller and her maternal grandparents I.B. Horne and Mary Fisher Horne, and her niece, Allison Ann Miller.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 beginning at 9:30 AM until services at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
