Oliver Robert, Jr.

Oliver Paul TuckerRobert Jr. aka Paw Paw passed away at 7:30 p.m. May 14, 2014. He was 81 years old and a native of Donaldsonville. Paul enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, passing out jelly beans to his grandchildren, and mowing the lawn even at 81 years old. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired system specialist for Honeywell. Visiting will be scheduled at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visiting resumes Monday at 3 p.m. until service at 5 p.m. conducted by Pastor Bill Pruitt. He is survived by his wife of 49 wonderful years, Terry Townes Robert two sons and daughtersinlaw, Kevin James Robert and wife Teresa Monson Robert, David Raymond Robert and wife Lauren Elizabeth Robert daughter Jennifer Robert Sibley 10 amazing grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Robert, Molly Luciana Molesini, Anna Katherine Molesini, Hayden Paul Robert, Christian Jody Sibley, Holden Hamilton Robert, Benjamin Antonio Molesini, Mathew James Robert, Isabela Teresa Robert, and Oliver Robert Goetzman three brothers and four sistersinlaw, Doran James and Dorothy Martin Robert, Clinton Joseph and Glenda Blades Robert, Charles Earl and Rita Cangelosia Robert, and Barbara Martin Robert and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Paul Robert Sr. and Myrthee Doran Robert and brother Dale Thomas Robert Sr. Special thanks to Dr. Sheely, Dr. LaMotte and the entire staff at the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
