She was 93 years old at their joyful reunion. Olive passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 25, 2020, into the arms of Jesus. Our mother was born on August 19, 1926 in Port Barre, La. to Mayo and Buela Wyble Fontenot. She was the oldest of eight children. She married Isaac ‘Ike’ Grimball on September 1, 1943. Through the years Olive enjoyed, raising chickens, cows, ducks, growing vegetable gardens and beautiful flower beds that rested at times over 50 rose bushes. She definitely had a green thumb. Olive truly enjoyed her home inside and out and all the many blessings that the Lord had given her. A very strong and gifted lady, she loved and cherished her family in her on special way and was a good friend to many. She and dad were long time member of First Baker Baptist Church, Baker, La., where they enjoyed serving the Lord. They gave their children a Christ-filled home, of which we are grateful.
