Norma Payne

A resident of Denham Springs and a native of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 2 p.m. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Norma is survived by her mother, Dorothy Juanita Henderson daughter, Dedra DeeDee Tucker son, Donald Butch Underwood Jr. and wife Beth sisters, Linda Brumfield and husband John and Sylvia Dunaway brother, Douglas DeFreece and wife Lan five grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Huffstutter and husband Timothy, Donald Eugene Underwood, Treva Leigh Tucker, Tricia Lashay Tucker and Summer Starr Underwood and a greatgrandson, Dakota Blayne Huffstutter. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Ray Underwood Sr. husband, Charles Rufus Payne grandson, William Ray Tucker father, Norman Joseph Landry grandmother, Pansy Wilson Lindley grandfather, Arvil Allen Tex Lindley and sisters, Kathy Sue Rose and Brenda Kaye Font. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 4950 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
