Norbert Drew

Norbert Boniface Drew, 93 years old, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2017. He was born on May 14, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post No. 38. He loved golf and enjoyed listening to Big Band music.

Norbert is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Chaney Drew; his three children, Robert (Bob) Drew and wife Laura, Mary Olexy and husband, Keith, Nan Butler and Steve Boudreaux; his sister, Rita Jobe; grandchildren, Sheri Andersen, Kristie Forbes, Barrett Drew, Lindsey Bryant, Mandy Tuminello and Zachary Butler and great grandchildren, Noah Andersen, Callie and Hudson Drew, Tanner Forbes, Adley Tuminello and Elle Bryant.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Caleb Drew Butler; parents, Sophie and Andrew; and two siblings, Leona and Donald.

Visitation will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home from 8:00 am on Friday, March 3rd until graveside services and burial at 10:00 am. Friday casual dress is perfect! To view and sign guestbook please visit www.resthavenbatonrouge.com.
