Nora Mansur Payne

Nora Mansur Payne passed away at the age of 85 on January 8, 2024. She was born August 27, 1938 in Baton Rouge.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, a special sister-in-law, Winnie Payne Landry to whom she resided, and a dear and close friend, Rhonda Kennedy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bolos and Rosa Mansur, sister, Elizabeth Ginn, four brothers, Bolos, Thomas, Charles and Woodrow Mansur, three nieces, two nephews, and her husband of 35 years, Clyde “Bo” Payne.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with rites of Catholic Burial, officiated by Fr. Jeff Bayhi, at 11:00 a.m. Interment immediately following at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Todd Terrell, Robert Wheat, Timothy Ginn and Joseph Wright.
