Nita English

Nita Couvillion English, born on November 13th, 1926 peacefully departed this earthly life on June 8th, 2013. She was born in Plaucheville, LA and has been a resident of Baton Rouge since 1945. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard daughters, Victoria Vicki Soileau, Jacqueline Jackie McMyne her infant twin sons, Hayden English and Henry English grandson, Dylan McMyne her parents, George and Ethel Couvillion and her 6 siblings. She is survived by 6 children and their spouses, Mark F. English and wife Judy, of Baton Rouge, Joan Sarin and husband Mike of Phoenix, AZ, Gregory English and wife Lea, Jan Vaccaro and husband Mario, Anita English all of Baton Rouge and Jennifer English and fiancee Tony of Chattanooga, TN 22 adoring grandchildren, Jeff English, Becky Wannamaker, Andy English, Brent Soileau, Jason Soileau, Ben Soileau, and Joshua Soileau, Mary McMyne, Kate Michon, Michael Fisher, Krista Sarin, Rusty English, Mark English, Steven English, Jessica Cuba, Erin Brickey, Rachael Blake, Jake Farlow, Alex Farlow, Hayden Farlow, Sarah Newby, and Nicholas Moseley and 30 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
