A native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 10:52 p.m. at Heritage Manor at the age of 86. She was retired from D.H. Holmes. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting resumes on Monday, July 30, 2012 at St. George Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Michael Schatzle. Interment at Prairieville Community Cemetery. Survived by three daughters and sonsinlaw: Cheryl and James Vermaelen Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, Judy and Michael Dickinson of Baton Rouge, LA, Anita and Gary Watson of Walker, LA eight grandchildren: Brian Dickinson and wife, Cara, Emily Delahoussaye and husband, Michael, Denise Brown and husband, Derick, Jamie Riley and husband, Jason, Claire Vermaelen, Dr. James L. Vermaelen III and wife, Ashlie, Greg Watson, Erin Wilkinson and husband, David eight greatgrandchildren: Madeline Ballew, Emma Delahoussaye, Grace Delahoussaye, Ian Brown, Abigail Brown, Alexandra Dickinson, Jacob Riley, and James Riley. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Richardson parents, Louis E. and Lillian Babin LeBlanc four sisters: Evelyn Benoit, Gladys Doughty, Audrey Roussel, and infant twin, Bettie and a brother, Elvin LeBlanc. Pallbearers: Brian Dickinson, Derick Brown, Michael Delahoussaye, Dr. James L. Vermaelen III, Jason Riley, Greg Watson, and David Wilkinson. Honorary Pallbearers: James Vermaelen Jr., Michael Dickinson, and Gary Watson. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
