Nena Berry

Nena “Janel” Gager Berry,   Age:  79, of Kingwood, Texas, formerly a resident of Moss Point Mississippi, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on December 28, 2018.

Janel was a graduate Moss Point High School in 1957.  Janel was married to beloved husband Jim Berry for 36 years.

Janel is survived by her son Thomas “Craig” Bryan; wife Barb, and daughters Rachelle Denise Miller; husband Gary, Melissa Burger, Jimmy Berry II, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and brother Butch Gager. Janel was preceded by her husband Jim, her parents Jack and Nel Gager, and daughter Stephanie Bryan.  Janel loved spending time with her family and many friends, gardening, cooking, dancing, and watching LSU and New Orleans Saints football.  Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory following the service.
