Nelwin Comeaux

Nelwin (Nell) Comeaux, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 11, 2017. She was born in Ville Platte, LA, on May 5, 1922.

Nell was a stay at home mom whose passion was to take care of her children and their families.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnie Robison.

Nell is survived by her six children, Betty Bergeron, Jimmy Comeaux and his wife, Teenie, Roger Comeaux and his wife, Iris, Kenneth Comeaux and his wife, Kathy, Lee Comeaux and his wife, Ginger, and Kim Harris. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 1:00pm until a religious service at 2:30pm conducted by Deacon Joe Scimeca. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
